About National Day of Love

National Day of Love® originated from a vision by one of our founding members—a day dedicated to uniting people in celebration of love. This special day is observed annually on the third Saturday of March.

 

Additionally, our founders established Love Awareness Month, a period from February 15 through the third Saturday in March (National Day of Love®), to promote education about love and encourage intentional acts of love.

The Banks Foundation, Inc. sponsors the National Day of Love and Love Awareness Month activities. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering families to reach their full potential through love and education. We are committed to providing scholarships, sponsorships, learning resources, and community outreach opportunities to support students’ educational journeys. Our team works to create a positive impact by fostering a love for learning and equal access to educational resources. We aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
